Level II: Data-Driven Professional Development

Ongoing:

Level II participants will receive monthly on-site professional development which include an introductory session, demonstration of using data to increase your Adequate Yearly Progress, Response To Intervention strategies, and techniques for raising student test scores on the OCCT, End of Instruction and ACT. Teachers will receive monthly assistance as needed and be able to contact their facilitator via email or phone.

Online professional development services include: 

• Monthly online coaching to achieve Adequate Yearly Progress using the following venues 
  • Monthly Professional Development Bulletin filled with research-based resources 
  • Professional Learning Community online 
  • Frequently Asked Questions blog and/or individualized assistance using email

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

After each of the two Simulated Core Curriculum Tests, teachers will meet with Alpha Plus. These sessions will show teachers how to use test data to drive instruction, plan teaching, and remediation.

• Alpha Plus will analyze test data with teachers.
• Alpha Plus will help teachers build a re-teaching or remediation pacing guide. 

• Principal’s Review Included: Walk-through: Review walk-through reporting form and make suggestions/ recommendations

NOTE: The Alpha Plus Simulated Core Curriculum Tests are an additional purchase and are required for Level I, II, and III participation.
